The Canadian superstar descended down onto the stage in the guise of a heavenly creature - and from the moment he landed everyone was floating on Cloud Nine.
Teen giant Justin arrived on stage around 9pm after a 10 minute countdown began to explosion of screams, repeated each minute and growing successively louder.
Fireworks flared, the music started and Justin appeared with his silver wings fashioned out of shining guitars.
