Dancing On Ice 2013: Olly Murs performing ‘Army Of Two’
It’s been a pretty decent weekend for musical acts on reality TV shows that have nothing to do with singing. Last night we were treated to performances from The Script and Kimberley Walsh on Let’s Dance For Comic Relief (though Kimbo’s vocals really weren’t all that) and tonight, our favourite cheeky chappy (after Robbie Williams and Harry Styles) Olly Murs will be lighting up the rink on Dancing On Ice. The former X Factor runner up will be performing his latest single ‘Army Of Two’ and apparently his dress rehearsal went well. Keith Chegwin will be one of the skaters performing to the track this evening and he tweeted a while ago saying: “Just done final rehearsal for Olly’s number to open DOI. He’s singing live and he’s goooooooood x Don’t forget to vote xx”.Cheggers be skating with Murs and then he’ll be straight back to the ice when the musical number ends, as he and professional partner Olga are performing first. He added: “OMG Olga and also are on first tonight…….We’re rocking and rolling|||” Cheggers has been in the bottom two three times now and has been saved by the judging panel on each occasion. He’s hoping to avoid the skateoff this evening and asked his fans to keep supporting him and voting. He wrote: “We really need votes 2night to stay in. This week Olga @imperialicestar & I have had to work on 4 routines. We’re so knackered x”.Keith will not only perform while Olly sings and then again with his partner, but he will also take part in tonight’s Team Challenge with Samia Ghadie and Beth Tweddle. The trio will be up against Matt Lapinskas, Luke Campbell and Gareth Thomas and the group that wins the judges’ votes will see their individual scores all being doubled. Meanwhile, Olly might be home in the UK tonight, but his music is starting to make moves Stateside this week and celebrity blogger Perez Hilton tweeted today saying: “@ollyofficial Troublemaker is climbing the U.S. iTunes chart! It’s currently at #27!!! Congrats!!!” It must be the tight trousers! Leave your comments below…..
