After performing new single "Carry On" on the Grammy Awards earlier this month, fun. released a music video for another "Some Nights" track, the soft ballad "Why Am I The One," online on Tuesday (Feb. 26
The video showcases the journey of a yellow suitcase that goes through everything from being sold by a hobo to riding on the back of a motorcycle. Eventually the case is opened by the band, who pulls out an electric guitar and keyboard in perfect Mary Poppins fashion.
While the video contains a different tone than fun.'s previous cinematic efforts, frontman Nate Ruess stays the same. Clad in a suit and tie, the indie-pop singer croons, "Why am I the one always packing up my stuff?"Fun. recently announced an upcoming tour with Canadian indie-rock duo Tegan and Sara, as well as a headlining gig at the brand-new Boston Calling festival this Memorial Day Weekend. The band's next batch of tour dates is in Australia, with performances at the Future Music Festival scheduled for early March.
On top of that, the band held Hot 100 spots for "Carry On" (No. 20) and "Some Nights" (No. 28) on last week's chart, while their "Some Nights" slips one spot to No. 8 on the Billboard 200 this week.
