Monday night was a big evening for "The Voice," which is winding down its third season, but before the singing competition could resume, the four coaches and season three contestants opened the show with a different kind of performance.
They all took the stage at the top of the show to sing Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" in remembrance of the victims of last Friday's school shootings in Newtown, Conn. Each singer held up a card with a victim's name and age on it as they sang, standing behind a line of candles.
