Each year on Christmas mega hit DJ, DJ Earworm, releases his United States of Pop video to his massive fan base. Well, Christmas come early this year – thanks to some Canadian who illegally ripped the track after it debuted over the weekend on Toronto’s Virgin Radio 999. In addition to a full repertoire of other mashups, Earworm has been mixing the “United State of Pop” since 2007, and each year his YouTube videos, which can be found below, have been featured on Billboard’s Top 100 for Radio Play, according to Wikipedia.

DJ Earworm’s “United State of Pop” Series hit an all-time high for views on YouTube in 2009, when his video garnered over 40 million views, after receiving 4.5 million in 2007 and 9.5 million in 2008. The view count has been bolstered by Sporcle users, who have turned the mixes into quiz games, challenging gamers to figure out which 25 songs Earworm incorporated into his mashup for any given year.
