Video Premiere: Alicia Keys – Brand New Me

Time for new beginnings! Alicia Keys premieres her powerful new music video for ‘Brand New Me’, the second single off her latest album ‘Girl On Fire’.
Directed by Diane Martel, the visual starts with Alicia looking like her old self, gettiing some perspective on her life as she wanders around a studio. She decides to wipe the slate clean, sweeping away the past and relieving herself from the wig she is wearing.
Check out the singer embarking on her new journey below!
The clip was both simple and beautifully cohesive with the song’s emotional lyrics! And she looked amazing too. She is so svelte now. With motherhood and marriage, comes a new look, new body and a fresher outlook on life. We like it. Do you?

Video: Bruno Mars – Count On Me (Live On Ellen)

In light of the events in Connecticut, Ellen asked Bruno Mars to open up her show with a performance of his track ‘Count On Me’. His new album “Unorthodox Jukebox” is in stores now.

'The Voice' pays tribute to Newtown victims as coaches, contestants sing 'Hallelujah'

Monday night was a big evening for "The Voice," which is winding down its third season, but before the singing competition could resume, the four coaches and season three contestants opened the show with a different kind of performance.
They all took the stage at the top of the show to sing Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" in remembrance of the victims of last Friday's school shootings in Newtown, Conn. Each singer held up a card with a victim's name and age on it as they sang, standing behind a line of candles.

Avril Lavigne To Duet With Cassadee Pope On The Voice!

Great news Black Stars! NBC has just announced that our very own Avril Lavigne will be turning up to the season 3 finale of The Voice to duet with finalist Cassadee Pope! Cassadee is an established fan of Avril, and has covered two of her songs since joining the competition - "I'm With You" and "My Happy Ending"! The network has yet to announce what the two will be singing together, but we've no doubt in our minds that it will be fantastic.

EP: Drew – Hello It’s Me (iTunes)

Drew

Remember that girl with angelic voice on The X Factor last year? She was once then known as Drew Ryniewics, who was eventually christened as Drew by Simon Cowell during the entire duration of the show. Despite not winning the whole thing and landing only up to the Top 7, Drew releases her very first EP composed of 5 tracks mostly to serenade your Christmas holiday season.

Drew was my favorite on the first season of The X Factor US when she shattered me with ner unearthly rendition of It Must have Been Love on the Judge's House.

Here are the details of her new EP entitled Hello It's Me:

1. Let Me Down
2. Baby
3. Baby’s It’s Cold Outside
4. Silent Night
5. You and Me

You can download Drew's Hello It's Me EP on iTunes.

Blink-182 – Dogs Eating Dogs

We talked about the likelihood of something like this happening a little earlier today, and here we are with a complete stream of Blink-182′s upcoming EP, Dogs Eating Dogs. The anticipation for this release has been so great that it seems trivial to attempt recounting the progress the group have made up to this point, so I’ll just go on record now as saying this collection of tracks (in my opinion) far outshine the material found on their last full length. You can stream Dogs Eating Dogs and decide for yourself, after the jump.
There will be even more Blink-182 in 2013. Get ready.

Happy Birthday Christina Aguilera!
