Justin Timberlake To 'Suit' Up For Grammy Performance
Justin Timberlake is suiting up for the Grammys. The singer-turned-actor-turned-singer again will continue his return to music on February 10 when he takes the stage at the 55th annual Grammy Awards less than a month after dropping his comeback single, "Suit & Tie."
The six-time Grammy winner will take the Grammy stage for the first time in 4 years for the TV performance debut of his first new music in nearly seven years. He'll join a star-studded roster of already announced performers on the show, which includes Rihanna, Fun., Taylor Swift, Jack White, the Black Keys, Carrie Underwood, the Lumineers, Mumford & Sons, Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert and a special first-time duet between Elton John and nominee Ed Sheeran. Two-time Grammy winner LL Cool J will once again host the show. The leading nominees
at this year's Grammys include Fun., Frank Ocean, Mumford, Kanye West and Jay-Z, all of whom have six nods. The Black Keys are tied with R&B singer Miguel with five nominations each. The Grammys gig is part of a major comeback roll-out for Timberlake, who will warm up for music's big night by playing
at the DIRECTV Super Saturday Night event on February 2, one day before the Super Bowl. As part of his surprise return to music, Timberlake unveiled a high-end lyric video for "Tie" last week, a clip the director told MTV News was his attempt to make the greatest lyric clip of all time.
The end of the video revealed that the singer's third solo album, The 20/20 Experience, is due out on March 19.
